My husband and I visited the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
during June 2012. Want an experience. It’s got a beauty of its own. Wide open
field and a variety of animals to see.
Easier to spot the animals and I just love the red sand dunes.
Well the weather during the day was just fine but o my
goodness, at night and during the early morning until the sun was out it was so
cold!!!!!!!. The gates opened at 07:30 in the morning and on two occasions we
were not able to depart due to the fact that the diesel in our Land Rover was
frozen. We had to wait until much later before we could leave the camp for our
We were lucky enough to see lions and a cheetah on two
occasions. We saw Gemsbok, Springbok and blouwildebees, meerkatte, ratels,
rooijakkels, secretarybirds and owls. This was truly a pleasant experience and
the Kgalagadi will most certainly see us again, only then for a longer
period. We did not have time to cross
over into Botswana.
WOW, God made our country so beautiful, Thank you God to experience
the beauty of your creation!!!.
